Please welcome our Board member/Advisor Emma Hallstrøm to the Team!
Emma Hallstrøm – Sperton Board member / Advisor in China
Emma has a MA in intercultural communications from the prestigious Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Work and Organizational Psychology from the University of Bergen. Through her own Chinese company, she has helped several Nordic corporations to understand the complexity of doing business in China, and how to strengthen communication between Nordic and Chinese employees. She is a recognized lecturer and facilitator, working with several institutions, schools and companies in China such as Elliptic labs, Tongji University, Jotun, DNB, Prime Cargo, and the Norwegian Business Association China.
Some of her key competencies are Cross-cultural management and coaching, onboarding of expatriates and organizational development and strategy. She speaks Norwegian, English and intermediate Mandarin Chinese. She will be a valuable asset for Sperton and our clients supporting them with recruitment, onboarding of expats and cultural awareness training.
